InspireMum™ Aqua Pilates uses the buoyancy of the water as a medium to support the weight and therefore helps to improve on your body's balance. The resistence of the water also aids in the exercise movements and creates a gentle friction to the exercise while lowering the risk of injury. InspireMum™ Aqua Pilates works especially well in treating muscles strains or muskoloskeletal conditions. The aquatic environment also assists in improving the heart and lung function during the exercise.
InspireMum™ Aqua Pilates is suitable for swimmers and non-swimmers as we conduct the workout at the shallow parts of the swimming pool. Once the student is more advanced, they can choose to move to the deeper end of the pool to experience more resistance during the workout.
