While Pilates works on the core muscles, strengthening the muscles, improves flexibility of the spine, tones the torso by using the abdominals, hips, butt, and lower back, Yoga works on asanas (postures) and breathing techniques. It increases strength, stamina, better balancing and flexibility which help to release stress and rejuvenate your mind. Mixing both exercises create a workout that not only makes you feel fully stretched, relaxed but also tones and strengthen the muscles which helps in weight loss.
