Linda decided that the corporate world was not her calling. And hence, resolved to make a complete shift to dedicate herself to the joy of working with prenatal moms, babies and young children. Her happiest moments are when she sees the progress her students achieved; be it babies diving underwater, children with water phobia becoming confident swimmers, prenatal mom having a smooth and short labour or women simply feeling fitter and pain-free.
With over 10 years of experience, hundreds of children and adults have benefitted from her classes; be it land or aqua.
Linda has assisted many pregnancy women in being pain-free through the land and water movements, myofascial release and massage. She also conducts personal training program for women to keep fit and weight loss to therapy for pelvic floor, diastasis recti, sciatica, scoliosis and more.
With her advanced pilates, yoga, massage, aqua, myofascial release and prenatal training, she creates a holistic approach in the movements. She teaches Prenatal Pilates, Pilates, Cardiolates, Mat Pilates, Swing Yoga, Birthing Movement, Aqua Pregnancy, Myofasical Release, Personal Training and Stretch and Release.
Linda is also a certified affiliated with the HypnoBirthing® Institute. She had her 2 births naturally through breathing, movement and visualisation.
Adding to her extensive list of expertise, Linda is now a birth and post-partum doula as well as the first Singaporean Watsu practitioner certified by Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association (WABA).
Equipped with training from STA & Birthlight from UK, FISAF, IAIM, Linda is a certified Swimming Instructor and Infant Massage Instructor. Linda conducts swimming, water confident, movement and massage classes for babies as young as newborn. She understands the babies development and progression through her years of studies. She teaches babies and kids swimming and also baby yoga and fitness private sessions for kids on alignment issues and core strengthening.
Through handling more babies and kids, she started to see the advantage of movements, land and aqua in babies with special needs. From down syndrome, disabilities, cerebral palsy to autistic children; she felt the calling to reach out to them more. She began to delve more in-depth through the Swimming Diploma course for special babies, Yoga for special needs and also further a Diploma for teaching children with special needs.
On top of her packed schedule, she is also passionate about conducting seminars, workshops with hospitals, corporate organizations, parenting magazines, MCYS and more. She was also being invited as a speaker in numerous engagements for parenting magazines, newspapers and pregnancy-related events.
