Background

Linda decided that the corporate world was not her calling. And hence, made a complete shift to dedicate herself to the joy of working with prenatal moms, babies and young children.  Her happiest moments are when she sees the progress her students achieved; be it babies diving underwater, children with water phobia becoming confident swimmers, prenatal mom having a smooth and short labour or women simply feeling fitter and pain-free. 

She has over 12 years of experience during which hundreds of children and adults have benefitted from her land-based and aqua classes.

Pregnancy and Women Journey

Linda has assisted many pregnancy women in being pain-free through the land and water movements, myofascial release, massage and doula work. She also conducts personal training program for women to keep fit and weight loss to therapy for pelvic floor, diastasis recti, insomnia, sciatica, scoliosis and more.

With her advanced pilates, yoga, massage, aqua, myofascial release and prenatal training, she creates a holistic approach in the movements and therapy catered to expectant moms and women. She teaches Pilates, Cardiolates, Yoga, Aqua and conducts therapy work for Pre-natal moms and women. Linda is also a certified Certified HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator affiliated with the HypnoBirthing® Institute. She had her 2 births naturally through breathing, movement and visualisation. Adding to her extensive list of expertise, Linda is also a birth and post-partum doula as well as the first Singaporean Watsu practitioner certified by Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association (WABA).

Babies and Kids Fitness and Swimming

Linda conducts swimming, water confidence, movement and massage classes for children starting from newborns. She teaches babies and kids swimming and also gives private baby yoga, fitness lessons and aqua therapy to aid in improving posture and alignment issues and assist in core strengthening and reducing stress.

Children with Special Needs

Through working with children, she started to see the advantage of movements in babies and children with special needs. From down syndrome, disabilities, cerebral palsy to autistic children; she felt the calling to reach out to them more. This led her to attain Diplomas in Swimming, Yoga and teaching children with special needs.

Other Notable Achievements:

• Appeared on national TV (Channel 5 & 8) speaking on the subject of pregnancy and movement.
• Interviewed by national newspapers (Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao) and parenting magazines on health and wellness and baby swimming.
• On top of her packed schedule, she is also passionate about conducting seminars, workshops with hospitals, corporate organizations, parenting magazines, MCYS and more. She has been invited to speak in numerous engagements for parenting magazines, newspapers and pregnancy-related events.
