Birthlight Asia Baby Yoga Teacher Training

The Birthlight Asia Teacher Training Course for Baby Yoga is a five-day accelerated course that imparts simple baby Yoga practices for parents and babies from 3 to 18 months old.

 

Birthlight Baby Yoga Teacher Training is recommended for;

This training is recommended for qualified Health professionals, Children center’s staff and Yoga instructors. We also accept Mothers without any professional qualifications, provided they read on the anatomy and physiology of infants before attending the course.

 

Birthlight Baby Yoga – Part 1

Part 1 imparts Birthlight’s simple baby Yoga practices for the wellbeing and mutual enjoyment of the babies and their parents. The training is focused on;

●      Babies from 3 months to mobile babies; 9-12 months

●      Interactive use of touch, movement, sound/voice and rhythms.

●      Principles of non-violence, quiet observation, Self-awareness, respect, acceptance and compassion.

 

The result is that bonding between parent and baby is enhanced and the relaxed flow of the practices enhances quality physical stimulation for the babies.  

 


Birthlight Baby Yoga – Part 2

Part 2 focuses on mobile babies from 9-18 months old and the dynamics of the parent-baby pairs in baby yoga classes. The training includes;

●      Enhanced knowledge of babies’ brain development.

●      Importance of correct stimulation of the vestibular system.

●      Potential contribution of baby Yoga to enhance/repair affective communications between parents and babies through playful interaction.

●      Joint relaxation for parents and babies to help release parental tension.

 

Part 2 focuses on babies 9 to 18 months and the dynamics of parent-baby pairs in baby swimming classes.

 

What qualification is gained on this course?

On completion of the course, you may teach classes to complete your coursework and case studies and to practice, etc. but you and your class participants should be aware that full qualification only comes on successful completion of your coursework.

 

How is the course assessed?

This course is assessed by means of a practical assessment at the end of the course.
